Located in City Springs Park, 16 gardeners work 25 plots including a communal herb garden. Members of the Eastside Garden Club encourage, assist and learn from each other. Started by Washington Hill community members in 1986 on a vacant lot, the garden moved in 1992 to its current location. There is a waiting list to join the garden, but community members and passers-by are encouraged to harvest from the gardens planted outside the fence.
