The Smith and 9th Street station on the F and G trains is the closest subway stop to Red Hook. There are no subway stations in the heart of Red Hook, so you need to take a bus or walk from Smith and 9th Street. From the Smith and 9th Street bus station, you can take the B77 bus or the IKEA Shuttle. The B77 bus goes to different places in Red Hook, like the Red Hook pool, Ikea, and Fairway. The Ikea Shuttle, which is free, runs express from Smith and 9th to IKEA with no stops in between!
