Glen Miller Park is the largest park in Richmond at 194 acres and serves as a gathering place for families, groups, schools and public events such as Soulfest in the summer. It also features a spring where people come from around the county to fill up their jugs with drinking water.
Glen Miller Park holds one of the 12 Madonna of the Trail statues that are located along U.S. 40 in between Maryland and California.
The Park is also home to The Richmond Rose Garden, along with the Richmond-Friendship Garden and E.G. Hill Memorial Rose Garden. For more about the Rose Garden check out this link: http://www.waynet.org/nonprofit/rosegarden/
