Sustainability at Homewood Suites by Hilton® As we've learned, it's a journey, and we are well on our way. Together, we're helping to sustain the environment, conserve our natural resources and make a difference. Check back here for updates as we continue on this journey. Here's where we are so far (with more to come):

1. For over a decade, our guests have joined in our efforts to save water, energy, and reduce chemicals by allowing us to change linens every other day.
2. We have introduced energy-saving compact fluorescents instead of incandescent light bulbs.
3. Our new hotels feature the latest in conservation design and construction elements, including: low flow faucets and toilets, energy efficient appliances, and energy saving temperature and lighting controls.
4. Our hotels feature the option of paperless check-in/out.
5. During our Suite Start® hot breakfast and Welcome Home® reception, real china and glassware are used to reduce the amount of paper products used.
6. The Homewood Suites Neutrogena products (shampoo, lotion, soap, etc.) are contained in PET plastic that is 100% recyclable and the liquid formulas are naturally derived ingredients. Cartons are 100% biodegradable and made from a 100% renewable energy source.
7. The Homewood Suites Hotel Directory is printed on recycled paper, and printed quantities have been reduced. We have produced an electronic, downloadable version with the same features, located at homewoodsuites.com.
8. We are a proud sponsor of The Nature Conservancy, and their Duck River Conservation project, helping to keep our vital natural resources protected and flowing for generations to come.
