331 8th St (between 5th & 6th Avenues) is a single family brownstone full-gut renovation anticipating EnerPHit certification. Utilizing dense-packed cellulose and EIFS as the primary insulation layers, along with Intello membrane and Sto EmeraldCoat with ProClima tapes for air tightness & vapor control, the house recently blower-door tested at 0.95 ach50. Mechanicals consist of a 2-ton 3-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system and Zehnder CA350 energy recovery ventilation.
