"...Baking for a Cause"

A bit about City Girl Cupcake
City Girl Cupcake™ exists to feed children and families through selling homemade fresh and organic cupcakes. The net profits of all sales are donated to the cause, Feeding Americas Hungry Children. Each cupcake not sold is hand delivered to the Ronald McDonald House in Providence, Rhode Island. It is Catherine’s and Isabella’s hope that sick children and their families can hopefully put on a smile for a few minutes and dig into homemade cupcakes while they stay at the Ronald McDonald House while undergoing treatment at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. City Girl Cupcake™ pledges to help others in need through contributions and a passion for baking. Their belief in baking for a cause makes everyone smile.

City Girl Cupcake™ was founded by Catherine Corrente and Isabella Veader of Providence, Rhode Island. While attending neighboring Quaker schools Catherine and Isabella became close friends. Their common interest in baking for and helping the less fortunate was the catalyst for the forming of City Girl Cupcake™. Inspired by their mothers, grandmothers and aunts, Catherine and Isabella opened City Girl Cupcake™ in June of 2009 as Providence’s first and only nut-free, farm fresh and organic mobile cupcakery.
