48 Seventh Avenue
Queen Anne Style House
Next door to Woodmanse. Built c. 1890 by Michael Murray of New York, the main house is largely as it would have been during the days of horse and carriage (except for garage and kitchen additions at the back). On the Seventh Avenue side, the two front corners are three-story octagonal towers. The columned front porch is tow stories high, and the Highland Avenue porch is one story with railed veranda above. The painting is patriotic: white siding on the first floor, red wood shingles on the second and third floors, and blue trim.
