Besides being a vendor of natural and organic food and personal care products, Mt. Washington WFM has started featuring more locally sourced foods. During summers, it runs a farmers market late Wednesday afternoons/early evenings in the parking lot. WFM offers reusable shopping bags, composts food waste on site, and offsets 100% of its electrical consumption with wind-based renewable energy credits.
