1+ acre park created in 1999 by the community of Mt. Washington from land in a flood plain.
A project of the Mt. Washington Preservation Trust, this land was transformed into a beautiful retreat for community use with extensive plantings, a pond, benches, and pathways. The Arboretum depends on its volunteers year-round to maintain the gardens and assist with many of its construction projects and programs. The Arboretum hosts solstice celebrations and other annual community events.
