Baltimore
Roland Avenue
Overview
When Roland Park was first developed, the street car track ran down the center of Roland Avenue. Now the street features a grassy, tree-lined median, helping to create a scenic shaded boulevard. It is the site of such community events as the Fourth of July Parade and the first Sunday Streets street closure.

Maintaining that continuous green median for the length of Roland Avenue is an important design feature. Is it possible to restore some of the unused asphalt by Gilman near Northern Parkway instead of degrading it more?
