Richard A. Hemp State Fishery Area- The Richard A. Hemp State Fishery Area is located three miles north of Nelsonville and has a total acreage of 1,372. The area consists of trout streams and lowland and hardwood forest. Recreational activities that exist in the area include: hunting, trapping, fishing, hiking, berry picking, and wildlife viewing.
