The house was occupied by a series of barbers from the 16th century to the 19th century. Until today, it is known as a "barber's house".
This house is also famous for a tragic tale of Markéta Pichler, a daughter of a barber, who was slaughtered on the night of 18 February 1608 by the son of the Emperor Rudolf II. von Habsburg.
