Overview

No votes yet

Libe Slope is part of the Cornell Campus and provides a beautiful view over the valley and Cayuga Lake. Cornell leaves overgrown grass areas to provide habitat for wildlife and encourage biodiversity, and to cut its carbon emissions due to mowing. The place is excellent for star gazing, autumn color leaves, and features a few very old trees such as a 200year old oak tree. Several events take place there throughout the year such as a Fairtrade chocolate festival and star gazing nights.
The site is easily accessible by walking, biking and public transports.
