Confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers
Overview
The confluence of the Delaware River and the Lehigh River in Pennsylvania in the City of Easton. A public park adjoins the waterway at this location. The area is the location of fish ladders which assist shad and other fish to migrate from the Delaware River into the Lehigh River, a natural migratory pathway which was interrupted when a low dam was erected across the Lehigh River.
