William Henry Wood House (136 Bellevue Avenue)
Overview
The original owner of the house, William Henry Wood, was a textile manufacturer and an avid supporter of education. William's daughter, Beatrice, a resident of the house until the 1960's, entered the teaching profession, instructing primary school students in Bloomfield.
This site was added to the New Jersey State Register of Historic Places on September 29, 1986.
