Development should be restricted as far as possible to within existing towns and villages, making better use of space/higher rise (especially industry and retail sites) better planning on redeveloping derelict sites.

Ribbon development coalescing villages. Loss of character. Reduction of biodiversity. Scrub wood land and grass land important for many species.
Developments like this cut the size of countryside into smaller pockets, encouraging coalescence and reducing ecological value.

H73 Very busy road and safe access to H45 is required.
H73 It would be a shame if houses were built here – wildlife preservation
