Bellevue Avenue Library Branch
Overview
The Bellevue Avenue Branch of the Montclair Public Library is smaller than the main branch, and is only open on Mondays. The Upper Montclair Branch of the library was founded in 1899 and housed in various storefronts until a grant from the Carnegie Corporation allowed for the construction of the current library building in 1914.
The building is listed on the state and national registers of historic places.
