History of this Location
Of the many local artists in Paraty, Gringo may be the most well travelled. Gringo was born in Paraty, yet has traveled the world from Hong Kong to Malaysia. .Gringo has 18 brothers. Although his age does not show, Gringo is in his sixties and is looking forward to the time when he can retire. You can usually find Gringo near the boat docks in front of the Associação do Barqueiros de Paraty.

After all of these travels, he returned to his home, Paraty, and now creates authentic local art of scenes around town
