History of this destination:
Paraty Tours is the oldest tour company in Paraty and has contributed significantly to the development of quality, sustainable tourism. The owner, Sebastian Buffa Urquijo, is an active member of the business community. He is now head of the Paraty Convention and Visitors’ Bureau which is an active group of local entrepreneurs who are addressing the challenges of sustainable tourism development and marketing.
Paraty Tours is a tourism agency that will help you enhance your visit in Paraty. Located near the main entrance of Paraty’s Historical Center for over 10 years, Paraty Tours will offer tourist’s unlimited details on the Historical Center as well as suggestions as to what is activities are available.

The work staff of Paraty Tours was extremely helpful as they answered the many different questions I had on the different things to do while in Paraty. The staff was able to inform me about some if the history of the Paraty area as well as show me fun places to visit on a map. They gave me a map that depicted the area to help me get around. Pertaining to tours, they offer a great deal of different tours that anyone can take.
Paraty Tours played a significant role in my trip to Paraty because they provided all the transportation. The staff was very kind and pleasant; they always made sure all passengers on the bus were safe. I'd definitely recommend this tour company when planning your trip to Paraty.
If you want reliable, punctual people in order to keep your trip moving, Paraty Tours is where to go. Every time my group and I were on the move- Paraty Tour was there keeping up with us. The staff are great and nice. They did everything they could to accommodate the large group I was apart of. Use them!
