La Framboise is a state managed nature area with a picnic shelter, vault toilet and tap at the parking area. The island features sandy trails for hiking and mountain biking and offers excellent birding opportunities year round. Read more about the wildlife habitat La Framboise provides in this report. La Framboise was mentioned in the Lewis and Clark Journals and abandoned farm equipment can be seen off some of the more remote trails. There is no fee to enjoy this jewel of a nature area.
