Construction is under way on the Neuroscience and Psychology Buildings, to be completed in the spring of 2013. The laboratory buildings are designed to meet a target of 30 percent energy efficiency improvement over an off-campus equivalent building. The buildings will feature: automatic lighting controls, use of natural lighting, a storm water reclamation system, low flow plumbing fixtures, an energy efficient HVAC system including heat-recovery, and a high performance exterior facade.
