Overview

Meridian Health Services provides comprehensive behavioral health needs for adults, adolescents, and children for Wayne county and the surrounding area.

Meridian works to support individuals suffering from mental, intellectual, and behavior illnesses to be fully integrated in the community with stable, fulfilling lives by helping to find manageable employment opportunities and connecting patients to socially to the community. As a resource addressing mental health in Richmond and the surrounding area, Meridian cares for the mental well-being of our community.

Meridian provides physical health services, too, because many mental health patients have trouble communicating with doctors. At Meridian, physicians consult and collaborate with a patient's psychiatrists when they are being diagnosed.
