I love my dad's park! It is sooo beutiful, even if everything is dead lol.
I took my senior pics ther eand they turned out perfect!!!
I'M SO EXCITED TO see the next 2 phases come into play!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad you appreciate the park and that the City established one in the name of your father. With the better weather we've been having the past few months, I'm sure that the park looks lovely now.

Hi - I believe I went to school with your dad (class of 82 Greenfield, MA). Didn't know him very well and just happened to see his very sad death on someones fb page. Hope life is treating you well! :)
I visit the park often and there is almost always someone enjoying the park. It was really cool to see baby ducks there. I'm glad my daughters have a special place to feel connected to their dad.

My husband would love that the park was in the middle of his patrol area with SAPD. There is alot of traffic on the side street, but when I am at the park I dont even hear the cars. It's a peaceful area that I go to remember all we shared together. Coming up on 5 years since his death, his body is gone, but the emotions and love we shared still go on. I feel him around me, and know he watches my every move. He would be proud of all we accomplished...as he is still with me moving through my life. Love the park! And in silence I feel him near.

I wrote a few moths ago. Looking at my old HS yearbook and we are on the same page. Hope you have found some peace in your life!
John may be gone and he lives in our hearts. In life he was a hero, he was an example to others. He has left a mark for us to live up to and a path to follow. John I did not get to tell you when you were alive but you were my hero. You left us to soon my brother.
