Overview
Community Animal Rescue and Adoption or CARA is operated by volunteers & part-time employees; supported by private donations from individuals, businesses, & fund raising events and receives no funds from the city, county, state or federal government. CARA is recognized as an accredited charity by the Better Business Bureau and truly is a no-kill shelter. Community Animal Rescue and Adoption on average cares for 300 dogs and 120 cats.
