PDSA shops raise funds to support PDSA PetAid services, which provide free veterinary care to the sick and injured pets. PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity, caring for more than 350,000 pet patients belonging to people in need. They provide free veterinary treatment to sick and injured animals and promote responsible pet ownership. There are two PDSA charity shops in Swansea, which sell good quality donated goods and PDSA-branded new products, including calendars, diaries, cards and pet care items.
Instead of taking your unwanted household items and clothing to the tip, save on landfill space and take those in good condition to PDSA and other charity shops. A win-win situation! Helps YOU, helps the environment, helps a good cause! PDSA offers a collection service for donated items. Call your nearest PDSA shop for details.

Further Information
Charity shops promote reuse, diverting useful items from being landfilled or incinerated. 100,000 tonnes of textiles pass through charity shops every year, saving the UK nearly £2 million in landfill tax alone! (London Recycling Fund Project)
Charity Shops reduces pressure on raw materials, energy, and labour, and promote sustainable development.

Training and Volunteer Opportunities
They have a fantastic variety of volunteer positions throughout the UK, from helping in one of their shops or offices and fundraising groups, to specific placements in our PetAid hospitals, all within a supportive and happy environment. Full training is given, with hours to suit you.
