Tel Aviv
Catit
Overview
Catit perhaps marked the start of gourmet food in Israel. Taking classic traditions of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Chef Meir Adoni introduces new ingredients and modern techniques to traditional fare. Highlighting the rapidly increasing secular community in Tel Aviv, once taboo ingredients such as calamari and a mixing of milk and meat feature prominently on Catit's menu. 4 Hechal HaTalmud Street, Tel Aviv; 972 (3) 510 7001; daily 12 PM- 12 AM; $$$$ CC accepted
