Mokytojų namai įkurti 1946 metais Vilniaus miesto Savivaldybės.
Įsikūrę Vilniaus senamiestyje,Mokytojų namai yra vienas pagrindinių kultūros centrų Vilniaus mieste. Juose yra organizuojamos įvairūs kultūros projektai, susitikimai, parodos, konferencijos ir t.t Vieta, kuri alsuoja meniškumu, remia jaunus meninkus, eksponuoja jų darbus ir įvairius garsius kultūros renginius jaukiose Mokytojų namų patalpose. Taip pat čia organizuojami įvairūs muzikiniai koncertai, bei kiti pasirodymai. Be to, čia rengiami būreliai tiek vaikams, tiek ir suaugusiems, tad kiekvienas ras sau įdomų ir mielą užsiėmimą. Vyksta knygų mugės, sodininkystės dienos, liaudies muzikos ir šokių, baleto ir teatro pasirodymai.

We organize book fairs, garden shows and different events for families and children. At the Center, there are folk dance, folk instruments, ballet and theatre studios for both children and young adults.
Located in Old Town (Vilnius st. 39/6), the Teachers’ House is a major cultural centre in Vilnius. It has all the necessary facilities for organizing any kind of meetings: from a workshop to a general conference. Called a place with an artistic touch, it constantly exhibits the works of young artists and is famous for cultural events in its cozy halls. There is a possibility to provide a sound system for concerts or other performances as well.
