We’re a group of people from the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY who share a couple things in common. Foremost, we like food. Good food. Cheap food. Food you can get excited about sharing with family and friends. And we believe that local access to good, affordable food is not an unrealistic expectation. It might take a little work, a little organization, but that’s what communities are built on. Which is something else we share – we are deeply invested in the community of Bushwick, and we hope to see it grow.

Please join us! We are currently more of a buying club than an official coop. Which at a basic level means we can purchase goods at bulk rates and have them delivered, but we don’t have a storefront. What we order is directly selected by members, who are generally responsible for picking up goods upon delivery. The larger the group grows, the larger the selection can grow, and the closer we get to making this a sustainable model.

We are very serious about making this happen but also believe it can be fun. Come help the Bushwick Food Coop reach its full potential!
