Below excerpt from WikiMapia
"The Paradise Valley Conservation Area (PVCA) is a beautiful 663-are site with abundant forest areas, wetlands, and free flowing streams. A significant portion of the headwaters of the Bear Creek watershed is located on site. That watershed system, which includes Cottage Lake Creek and many other tributaries, has one of the most productive salmon streams in the Sammamish River System.
The property, which was homesteaded in 1898 by James and Eliza Lloyd, was purchased from Davey, Jessie and Elizabeth Lloyd. The Lloyd family raised an average of 25 cattle and 60 sheep a year, pasturing their farm animals east of Paradise Lake road across from their large log cabin, barns, and equipment storage buildings."
