The PPi Technologies GROUP is the largest organization in North America selling StandUp pouch and preformed tray machinery. The machine sales are supported through the many patents that offer customers an edge in the production area or market place. Machine technologies include premade pouches for fill-seal or printed roll stock Form Fill Seal machines with press-to-close and slider zippers. Many of the machines handle spout fitments and application of these range from handling premade center or corner type and or Form Fill Seal in place. In addition the new Redi-2-DrinQ™ Groups/Shot Pak offer beverages for the fast growing beverage and liquor market segments.
PPi Technologies GROUP is able to offer exceptional quality and high speed pouch machines throughout North and South America. Our unwavering commitment to excellence begins by listening to you. Your ideas and our passion for innovation bring breakthrough technology to your products. Then we test them vigorously in our laboratory and in the real world. That’s because we strive for and expect the best from our products.
At PPi Technologies GROUP, we recognize the importance of the environmental impacts with our decision making. We are members of alliances, conservancies, societies and enjoy our world. Nature inspires us with its beauty and its magnificence, and we are deeply committed to conservation. Because we want to preserve our world for generations to come, we try at all times to reduce waste of resources and energy, to reuse and recycle packaging run on our machines. Our SECAMP™ project was an industry first.
As a green business partner, PPi Technologies GROUP is doing their part to make a positive impact on our community. From an energy perspective, PPiG has made a number of improvements at their new facility that opened in 2014. With the assistance of a comprehensive energy audit, they have installed efficient air conditioning units with duct sock supply systems, switched from T-12 to T-6 lighting fixtures and added several Big Ass Fans® to their warehouse areas to increase air circulation.
PPi Technologies GROUP is actively recycling and reducing waste at their facility. Communication at the office is done electronically, employees follow a comprehensive recycling program and all plastics, cardboard and used pallets are either recycled or returned to the vendor to reduce impacts. PPiG works with the community purchasing from local vendors whenever possible, and even supplies used plastic barrels to area Sarasota city schools that are converted by students into rain collectors. The facility has its own employee putt-putt course that incorporated redundant items from around the facility including: windmill motor, bicycle, water fountain pump and used tires. The putt and chip golf course is built out at the back of the property and saves energy because this land does not need any lawn maintenance.
PPiG has several other conservation measures in place. Most notably, they generate much of the freshwater used in the Penta 5™ contract packing rooms and use a reverse osmosis unit system. They generate their own nitrogen through a nitrogen generator system. This system allows for a more concentrated product, thus reducing the amount of gas cylinders required to be provided by outside vendor. Worker safety is a major focus of PPi Technologies GROUP. They have a system to make their own ozone for cleaning called Ozotech. This process eliminates the need for large volumes of chemical cleaners used at the facility.

PPi Technologies GROUP became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2015. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
