From the website:

"Travels on the Silk Route over many years took us into a richly coloured world of exquisite hand-made textiles, silks, artefacts, and tribal jewellery.

We've designed the Lola Rose range of clothing for women using 100% silk and cotton bamboo fabrics. It's a collaborative effort by us in Byron Bay and our friends in Hanoi. A blend of East meets West, hand-made and incorporating the work of traditional textile artisans. Over time we've formed close relationships with the people who make our clothes and other products. They are mostly small family run businesses in developing countries. It is our intention to make a positive contribution to communities in the places we operate, which will help towards their financial independence and security. We are committed to ensure fair rates of pay, good working conditions and to keep alive the works of traditional textile artisans, who are struggling against the advancement of machine technology."
