Open Hand Theater
Visão geral
The idea of a puppet museum may sound creepy, but Open Hand is more than just puppets hanging on a wall. Here they do what they were made to do- perform! The main stage hosts traveling performances Open Hand sponsored shows. Educational workshops include youth theater projects, puppetry and theater training for kids, play writing and circus camp.
The museum itself is a steward for "the Castle," a grand Victorian home, in which it's housed. The "Castle," on the corner of N. Salina St, Ash St and Prospect Ave was built in 1890 by Charles L. Hoffman, President of the National Brewing Company.
