Diarrhoea Season Campaign
Rezumat
Worldwide, it is impoverished communities which carry the brunt of the burden of diarrhoeal disease. Diarrhoea remains a major cause of direct childhood mortality as well as through resulting malnutrition and increased susceptibility to other diseases. The City’s Diarrhoea Season Campaign, which runs from November to May, has done much to improve the city’s statistics: diarrhoea deaths have more than halved in six of the eight City Health sub-districts over the last two years.
