The new logo for the Municipality of Kincardine is a symbolic representation of energetic involvement within the community. The interweaving of elements is inspired by Celtic art, and reflects the importance of heritage for the people of this Municipality. At the same time the modern appearance of the design connects the past with the future. The overall symmetry of the logo represents balance and harmony. The three elements symbolize the merging of two townships and one town. Their positioning conveys a sense of energy, initiative and movement. It also evokes with its shape the pleasures of outdoor activity, the importance of teamwork and the powerful forces of nature: sun, wind and water.
