Hello, we are residents of Frogmore Estate. This evening (6/1/2012), we were so excited to see otters in the Keyser river, enjoying themselves and very curious about us, coming up close to the bank to get a good look. After a while, they moved quickly off to the point where the river joins the Westlake. There were at least three. We thought to write this down as we don't know if they come there often. It was getting dark, but they could be seen clearly.

I wonder if you could possibly help us. We have been frequenting Silwerstroom beach twice a week for almost a year now, to walk on the beach with our dogs. On arrival at the beach today, we were informed at the boom that no dogs are allowed, and all the signs that used to be up saying that dogs are allowed have been taken down.
Can you please let us know if this is a permanent thing, that dogs are no longer allowed or is this just over the holiday season?
I would really love to know, as this is our favorite place to go with our dogs, and we would be devistated to know that we are no longer allowed to do this. I would love to know the reason why, as we have only ever seen 2 other people with dogs (besides us).
Thanks and I look forward to a response.
Kind regards Kim Rossi
Does anyone know if this site accepts paper for recycling?
three plants that are endemic to tygerburg nature reserve
Please note that this spot is not untouched by crime, I had my van brocken into parked at the car park near the washing spot on Saturday 10.09.2011 at 09.45am, a box with spare parts, pump, helmit, was stolen, my mates car had half a tank of petrol syphoned out. So take all usual precautions and do not leave any valuables in your car. Cheers Julian Linacre
Opening hours are not included on this site which means you have to phone the call centre to find out. So when you're updating this site, perhaps you could include opening times. For people's information the Woodstock waste drop off is open every day including public holidays from 7.30 am to 5 pm.
Vineyard Hotel and Spa is now accredited with a Green Leaf certification, proving their dedication to the environmental cause. I have recently attended a tour of their 7 acres of garden and left informed, relaxed and with a happy tummy full of freshly baked scones and pastries. I shall now attend their next Alien Clearing event- to help remove alien invasive plants of Table Mountain and to also have a productive family day out
Great place to get any eco-friendly product. Wide range of goods and friendly service!
Thank you for listing this drop off site. Is there a map or list of all other garden refuse sites of Cape Town suburbs? Julio
