This factory was built by Eddie Copeland in the late 1930s and then run by Cecil Morris in the early 1940s and Lambert Morris in the late 1940s. It consisted of an elevator to lift the fish out of the holds of boats, a dump to measure the fish by the thousands, a rawbox, a steam cooker, a press, and a dryer. The factory was moved to Lennoxville in Beaufort in the late 1940s or early 1950s to the site that later became Standard Products. The factory owned three menhaden boats.
