The cliff of the bat case is an extension of the upper part of Swallow Cliff. It is over 200m long. The cliff is formed by sandstone and shale, and there holes on the rock surface that look like a hive. The largest cave is about 50cm wide by 60cm deep. It was the resting place of bats, so it is called the bat cave. However, bats have long gone!
