Eaton Hall was built in the 1930's as a summer estate house for Lady Eaton. It was built like a French chateau on its own private lake. In the 1970's, after Lady Eaton's death, Eaton hall was sold to Seneca college for a campus in York Region. It was used for administrative purposes, at first and then business classes were held in the estate. In the 1990's Seneca built a new building on the King campus, and Eaton Hall was renovated and became a conference facility as it is known today. This is a significant site in King as it has unique architecture and is home to a private lake and large estate.
