Highland Field
Overview
Highland Field is the main sports/recreational facility located within the Town of Harrington Park. The overall complex has been designed to fill a wide range of sporting and outdoor activities. Highland Field is home to 3 baseball fields, 2 softball fields, 2 full-size basketball courts, picnic tables and a large children’s playground area. Some of the ball fields and basketball courts have lights for evening play. In addition there is a field house with storage areas, snack counter and bathrooms that are open during sporting or special events. For those who would like to simply connect with nature, there is a walking path that runs along the outer border of the field. There is also an area that has been made into a memorial for those residents of Harrington Park who were victims of the attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11/01.
