Übersicht
Liberty State Park's kids playground is probably one of the best ever free places to take kids, anywhere, to just let them run around, climb, cycle and play. Other than the actual climbing/play area itself, there are toilets, parking (can fill up if busy), benches and tables, BBQ pits, cycle paths, grass everywhere, riverbank 100 yards away.
The only downside i can think of, is that because the park is relatively new and the trees are not mature yet, there is little shade. However, time will sort that out.
