赤山禅院-Sekizan-Zen-in
Übersicht
赤山大明神（陰陽道の祖神 泰山府君）を祀り京都の表鬼門（北東の方向）を守護するお寺であり、七福神の福禄寿のお寺でもあります。境内には小さなお社もたくさんあり、神仏混合の不思議な雰囲気があります。方難除け、商売繁盛に御利益があるとされています。名前の通り、紅葉の美しさは格別ですが、余り人に知られていないので、紅葉シーズンでも穴場です。臨戦態勢の狛犬、屋根の上の猿など、風水的仕掛けを見ることができます。
