Gaujas kreisā pamatkrastā, vecupes krastā iepretīm Silciemam, 1,5 km lejpus Lorupes ietekas.
Up to 8,5 metres high, pinkish cliffs. Cliffs mirrored in the calm water of oxbow. Two small bays.
Left side of Gauja valley, at the bank of oxbow opposite Silciems, 1,5 kilometres below the mouth of Lorupe.
