四平街為沙鹿鎮最具歷史之老街，在日治時代就已匯成商圈，日治初期二樓磚造洋樓的建築風格，融入閩南式圓拱、紅磚的騎樓，別具特色。 四平老街刻畫著閩、粵先人渡海來台開荒拓地的信仰及演進，走趟四平老街的朝興宮、保安宮、玉皇殿及福利宮等，就能深入了解沙鹿一頁發展史。

Siping Street is the most representative historical street in Shalu Township. Shops in cluster had already formed a commercial district during the Japanese colonial period. In the early period, the 2-floor bricked western style house, integrated with south-style arches and red-bricked arcade, had a distinguished style. Local people on Siping old street have still maintained the traditional belief and lifestyle since they immigrated to Taiwan. Visit Zhaoxing Temple, Bao'an Temple and Yuhuang Temple, you will thoroughly understand the history of evolution of Shalu Township.
