走過70多年的歲月，經歷滄海桑田的變化，這座座落於臺北市中心幾乎已經被人遺忘的神祕園區，至今仍保有相當完整的廠房、建築、庭園造景及豐富的人文景觀...。
創意設計是提升國家競爭力的重要關鍵，而台灣創意設計中心定位為台灣創業發展整合服務平台，其主要任務為提升設計人才原創能力、促進國際交流、加強產業市場競爭力。
台灣設計館為全球華人第一座以設計為展示主軸之專業展覽館，藉由展示與互動平台，提升全民美學設計體驗，同時亦為設計公司、設計推廣單位、設計師等打造自我展現之舞台，推廣台灣設計發展之成果，帶動設計產業發展，是國內文創及設計產業最具亮點的設計展覽館！(文化畢委會 杜映儒 吳瑋庭)
