Surf Fishing, Ocracoke
Overview
The tradition of surf fishing off the shores of Ocracoke goes back to the days of the very first tourists. Most of the ocean side is accessible by 4 wheel drive (depending on the season or nesting closures), or by walking in from Route 12. A recreational fishing license is necessary.
