Community Board 6 represents the neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Columbia Street District, Gowanus, Park Slope and Red Hook. The community board is a municipal body made up of residents and stakeholders that makes decisions about land use, service delivery, and budget in its district. We at Hook Productions went to meet with the community board and discussed many issues with them from garbage in the Erie Basin to high asthma rates in Red Hook. They were interested in what we had to say and eager to see our evidence.

If you live in the district and have any concerns about your neighborhood that you would like to bring to the attention of Community Board 6, you can email them at complaints@BrooklynCB6.org. or call the District Office at (718) 643-3027. You can also go to a community board meeting. Meetings are open to the public and save time at the end for members of the public to speak.
