Stadium Park Wall

Übersicht
The wall of Stadium Park is an unsightly one. The wall blocks the view of the beautiful water and eastern sunset. There are benches and picnic tables that were designed to have a waterfront view that now just look out onto the wall. The wall was constructed because people were trespassing into the area by the Grain Terminal behind it. If the visitors to this park could only have respected the owner's property by not venturing to enter it, then everyone would be able to enjoy the view given by the park and owner.

The wall was put up due to the trespassing into the old grain terminal or Gray House as locals call it. Many people who don't know much about the park and have no idea why they put the wall up, seem to ask the question of why the benches are facing the waterfront with a giant wall in the way? Personally, I think a wall was not one of the greatest ways to stop the trespassing into the grain terminal, because now people are just going to climb over the wall anyways.
- Partnerships for ParksWouldn't a chain-link fence have achieved the same effect and still preserve the view of the waterfront for park users? If the waterfront wasn't going to be accessible, why did the park designers orient the benches to highlight that area?
