This station is INCREDIBLY tall! There are series of escalators at this train station that bring you to the platform. The views of Downtown Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan are spectacular!
Wouldn't a chain-link fence have achieved the same effect and still preserve the view of the waterfront for park users? If the waterfront wasn't going to be accessible, why did the park designers orient the benches to highlight that area?
