The Cape Floral Kingdom is the earth’s smallest but richest botanical treasure. It’s also home and that means a lot in our world. It’s why we hand craft every Wild Olive Product ourselves, from source to shelf. Fussing over formulae, hand-painting and firing porcelain, personally vetting every molecule. Essential oils, absolutes, extracts, butters, powders…all are natural and some organic-and sourced from our cherished Fynbos wherever possible. Recent finds have now revealed that our cave-painting ancestors’ red ochre paste was also worn as protection for their skins. So the wheel turns and we take our place at the easel…Nurturing the art of living.

We source only local, fine natural and organic materials, from suppliers we trust. By treating each new product as an inspiration – with no pre-conceptions and limited not by time or budget but only by the laws of nature and the alchemist’s art. Our artisans all come from an extended family in the Transkei. Each one has apprenticed over years of exacting training, one on one, working only to our processes on our products. Those who have qualified and remained with us proudly own a piece of our company and their passion for their craft is an inspiration.
