More than 85,000 acres are located in Adams, Cumberland and Franklin counties. 39 miles of the Appalachian Trail are located on Michaux Land and 130 miles of state forest roads are maintained for pleasure driving and sightseeing. Three State Parks - Pine Grove Furnace, Caledonia, and Mont Alto are located within Michaux State Forest.
